Many authors listen to music as they write. They tend to use popular or rock music to help set the mood within them in order to write. I personally love using music to help me write. However, I also listen to audio books while writing. The funny thing is, I don’t care to listen to rock or pop to set me in the mood. Oh no, I listen to musical soundtracks. I have a huge love for musical theater and I have many soundtracks to prove it. Here is the list that I own and listen to almost on a daily basis:
