It’s here! On December 30, I teased a cover reveal for this year’s collection. If you guessed it is a second volume to Songs of the Deep vol. 1, you guessed right! And I have a beautiful cover to share, but before that, let’s hear a bit of what you’ll expect from me.
My story, still untitled now, is the sequel to “Song of Storms” in the first volume. This time, we are diving deeper into the mermaid lore with Sophie battling a dark family secret from extended members. As she learns the darker truth of the Holmquist family, we will see her relationship with Thea grow to a point where Sophie must make the ultimate choice.
This story is going to be darker and a bit more disgusting, hitting all those notes that I find horrifying. But don’t worry, it will be worth reading. Thea and Sophie will be stronger than ever, and you will meet another mermaid. I’m excited to have this story in volume 2 with other great authors. If you have gotten the first volume, please preorder the second.
