In 13 days, my baby’s due date will be here. The real question is, is it going to be born before or after it? My mom thinks the baby will be born on the 17th and though I do want a fellow holiday baby (I’m a Valentine’s baby), I just want to see my little one as soon as possible.
This weekend, my husband will be able to get the baby’s room done and ready for the new addition. I’ve been bugging him about it for months now and it’s about damn time! That’s all I have to say about that one.
My writing has been on a slight downhill pause. For about a month, my young adult story had been on the planning stage. Then, I trashed the first beginning of it. The reason for the trashing is because, I’ve noticed that typing is just not a good medium for me to begin with. So, now, I’m writing my first book in a composition notebook. Naturally, I’m not as far as I would like, but that’s fine. I have plenty of time for that.
I also plan on writing another short story for the journal I’m being published in right now. This story is due in May 1st and so far I only have the journal’s criteria in mind. I probably should start planning that out.
My crafty stuff is going well. Aside from wire jewelry, I can now make elastic jewelry. I love having more crafts under my belt. I am currently making a bookmark for a friend of mine, but once that’s done, I’m going to be making a hell of a lot more. Bulk is good and bulk that can be sold is better. I’m not aiming to make a profit or a living with this, I’m just aiming to make enough to feed the hobby. It shouldn’t be hard to do that. Especially if I put a percentage in my savings.
So, yeah, that’s the update of my life. Nothing really special and nothing to rant about. Oh well, sometimes drama just doesn’t happen. And frankly, I’m glad the drama is slowed down for now.
