I am 21 weeks pregnant and already I am proud of my baby. Hell, the child isn't even born yet and here I am hoping that this kid is going to make my husband's life interesting and mine a bit more normal. Just what did my little bun in the oven do? The baby kicked.… Continue reading Proud Mommy
Day #2
Today is day two of NaNoWriMo and most people are having issues even beginning. Not a good year for some. Me? Well, I'm actually working very well right now. Almost to today's quota and probably will be able to go beyond. I'm hoping for 10000 well before Saturday. Fingers crossed.
Lucky Bastard
You know the kind. He's that one person who seems to bypass karma's laws. Instead of getting it worse, he just keeps on getting more and more awesome stuff. Kind of like, "Oh, my car just got totaled and the accident was my fault. Thanks, Geico for buying me a new car." I mean, WTF?… Continue reading Lucky Bastard
Sometimes, I Hate that Goofy Grin
And then other times it makes me want to kiss him. When an issue came up about my subscription thingy to this blog, I went to the one source who can help me... my husband. Naturally, he decided that the best approach was the smart ass approach. So his advice was to contact support. And… Continue reading Sometimes, I Hate that Goofy Grin
Boy do Husbands Know How to Annoy
My husband has this uncanny ability to make my life just a tad bit harder. He is not a planner and when there is a plan, he tells me once and believes I should be able to remember it! Really? Here's the problem, because he is not a planner, he changes plans or forgets that… Continue reading Boy do Husbands Know How to Annoy
Observations of Morning Sickness
Supposedly there is 75% of pregnant women get morning sickness. I happen to be in that percentile and believe me, it isn't fun. Here are just some of the observations I have made about my specific brand of morning sickness. Of course, I'd love to hear if anyone has experienced the same. 1. My mouth… Continue reading Observations of Morning Sickness
Inspiring Webcomics
I am a bit of a webcomic nerd. I just love reading new webcomics that are free and made by freelance artists. These people aren't doing it for the money, they are doing it because they love the art they make. What's even better than their own stories, are the fans these people inspire. I… Continue reading Inspiring Webcomics
Crazy Month of October
October has been here for seven days and I feel bombarded with more than I can chew or swallow. The wedding ceremony is on the fifteenth and I still haven't finished everything. To make matters worse, the house is a mess and the in laws will be staying with us. On top of that, my… Continue reading Crazy Month of October
No Monotony
One thing I've noticed is that I write more and better at a time when I'm not at home and not in my usual settings. I have come to this conclusion a few times before, but for some reason, each time I take a trip I am surprised at how energetic and excited I am… Continue reading No Monotony
Making Plans for the Baby and the “Baby”
In a month and twelve days the month long extravaganza known as NaNoWriMo will begin. I don't know if I'll be able to make it this time, but I'm going for it. So far, I have the basic story idea, basic characters, and two storylines happening in the same time for the NaNoWriMo manuscript. I… Continue reading Making Plans for the Baby and the “Baby”
