“That One”

Hello, all! I wish that I could say that today has been a very eventful day, but it’s kind of hard to place doing the dishes and reading as “eventful”. However, something great has happened. My little boy is conjuring up sentences! I was giving a choice of shirts for him to wear and he chose the Captain America, saying, “That one.” For the life of me, I can’t get him to say it again. But, that’s usually the case when it comes to Buggy and talking. He does have a vocabulary growing, he just doesn’t want to use it on command.
In order to continue the growth of his vocab, I’ve took it upon myself to read a chapter book to him every morning during breakfast. I’m usually done eating before he’s even up, so, I don’t usually eat with him. I’m usually doing housework while he’s eating. I decided that a little extra attention and a dash of education wouldn’t hurt him. And so, I’m reading MATILDA to him. He smiled and giggled through the whole first chapter.
On another note, I’m writing again! I’ve started writing my draft again. Which is great because you guys know I haven’t been creating anything lately. Hopefully, I’ll be able to continue doing well in the writing and I’ll be able to post some work. I really would love to see my creations out in the world. Granted, I really need to do the work in order for them to be present.
