That Feeling

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been a believer of Fate. One of my biggest quotes is “It’s a sign.” I used to think it came from my Mom, but it turns out it was a saying I always said. Even at preschool there were times where I would say “It’s a sign.” And you know what, I still firmly believe that there are signs in the world to direct you or show you where you are heading at life. If you pay close attention and learn to silence yourself, you may be able to hear what is being said to you.

Right now I am having a naggling little feeling. It’s not an anxiety attack like feeling, but it may be from anxiety. It’s more like a feeling that someone is watching, but not in a creepy stalker way.

Imagine yourself sitting in a room. You have nothing to really complain about your life. There may be some tiny issues, but nothing life altering.

Anyway, you are in this room. And suddenly you feel that something is about to happen or should be happening soon. Maybe it’s a bladder issue, but it isn’t muscles contracting or expanding and there isn’t a serious urge to go. Maybe it’s the fact you forgot to lock the door, but then again you are at home in a room, there’s no need to lock the door. Maybe it’s something you need to do, but you don’t know what. Maybe there is somebody at your door deciding whether or not to knock, but there are no windows to see who it is.

That’s what I’m feeling right now. Sure, it might be paranoia. That’s a common thing for humans that date back to the times when we were being hunted as much as we hunted animals. But then again, maybe it’s God (or whatever higher being you believe in, or not believe in). Maybe this is what some people mean when they say God is talking to them. I doubt it’s an actual verbal conversation. Maybe the feeling I have right now is a sign that what I’m doing, I’m doing it right.
