The dismembered corpses are piling up, unimaginable evil lurks in the shadows, and if this odd couple hopes to beat the odds, Speare needs to keep his hands off Ardeth, and his head in the game.

Hmmm… what to say about this book. Made For Sin is most definitely in the realm of urban fantasy with some romance. The core of the book is written as a romance, but the ending threw me off. Without giving too much away, I’ll try to review other things instead.
Speare was an interesting male lead. He is a tortured soul and a good person forced to do terrible things. This quality sets him apart from other male leads in similar books. Or at least I felt it did because we see the book in his point of view. I actually liked that. I got to see the male side of a romance and it was refreshing.
The urban fantasy mystery part was so/so. I liked the concept, but their didn’t feel to be that much mental work with them for me. I’d like to describe this book as a TV show pilot where next episodes will either get better or make the story overall tank. As it is, I am intrigued enough that I would like to see more once it happens.
And that brings me back to the ending. Yep, it definitely feels like a next book is in the works. I wasn’t expecting that and so it threw me for a loop. Still intrigued though!
