In just a few more days, I will be at my second event. Lit and Lager is hosted by Reagan’s Raving Reads and is at Reaver Beach Brewing in Virginia Beach, VA. Come join me and say hi!
That said, I thought it’d be great to share what I’ve done to get ready.
My first event this year was a mind-blowing success. All of my copies of Perfect Poppy were sold. Naturally, they needed to be restocked for Lit and Lager. Now I have 19 copies ready for future readers. On top of that, Sacred Salvation was released between the two events. So, I had to make sure I had plenty of paperbacks for Lit and Lager! Again, we have 19 copies.
I didn’t keep as many copies of Rose of Rudolph Canyon or Songs of the Deep because they didn’t sell all that much, but I made sure to add a few more Cafe’ Reads. There are still plenty of journals and bookmarks. I did, however, have to buy a new 10×10 tent. I’m not sure if I’ll need it for Lit and Lager, but it’s good to have it just in case.
What happened to the last one? It broke when we set it up in our backyard. It happens, it sucks, but the problem is taken care of!
Now, all that’s left is to finish cleaning out my car and getting everything inside it. Oh, and clothes. If you’re in the Hampton Roads area, come visit Lit and Lager! I’m not the only author there, and there will be other vendors as well. I hope to see you there!
