Goodbye, 2019 and hello, 2020! It is the year of perfect sight and we should all be more observant.
Okay, that sounded better in my head. But, honestly, this is definitely going to be a good year. Why? Well, I’m here, aren’t I?
I honestly don’t remember what my resolutions were for 2019 and I’m sure I’ll forget this year’s. But, I like making lists and the one thing everyone can definitely agree on, I love sharing and boy do I share. I quite possibly overshare.
And this year, I’ll be sharing.
For organization sake, I have divided the resolutions into two groups: HOME and WORK.
HOME
I really have only one thing. Everyone has a junk drawer. Maybe even a junk room. If you visit my home, you’ll find a junk floor. No, I don’t technically live in hoarding status chaos, but if it’s the basement you only get to see, you will think I do. And so, for this year, starting today (after I eat and record a YouTube video for Friday), I will be filling out a bag of trash from the basement.
I will continue to do this for every day I am home. I know there will be days I won’t be able to and that is fine. I’m just ready to get the bulk of the trash out.
WORK
This one is a longer one. I want to focus on more solo works. I plan on releasing more things under just my name and my erotica pen name, Eliza Jensen. Yep, I’m even just going to announce it.
I WRITE EROTICA.
On the side. Shush. I like it. Live with it.
I’m also going to be more marketing/branding forward. This means more blog posts that aren’t just reviews or book spotlights. I will be talking about your favorite person of all time (next to you and your loved ones because I will never try to get past that) . . . anyways it’s me. In case you were wondering.
This means you will see me mention my YouTube channel more and possibly be directed to see some of the videos. I have three months planned out and there is a Friday filled for each one. If you haven’t checked it out, please do. Do the regular like, subscribe, and comment thing while you’re at it. I’d love you forever if you do.
Aside from those things, I think I’m pretty good on . . . OH! Yeah, I want to do more editing stuff too. And graphic designing for my book covers (FUN FACT. I actually make the book covers for my erotic fiction).
As for the normal reading thing, I’m going small in book number. I’ll be happy if I get 26 books read this year. I made my goal last year and I know I could make 26 this year, I just have been in a reading rut. It is what it is.
HAPPY NEW YEAR and I’ll see you Friday when I write some random post about me lamenting over my writing or something and shoving the link to my YouTube video.
