By the time you read this, the new year would have begun. 2020 has been a year of pain, struggle, hate, and love. We can all honestly say that this year was difficult for everyone.
But, let’s look at the small positives (and I do mean small): more and more people are recognizing the struggles of others, more people are willing to love and help, and there has been some great creative outlets brought out.
And then there was the bad…
Too many to count and too painful to reflect. The number of deaths by the hands of hate and the lips of sickness.
For me personally, I met my resolution and succeeded. I said I wanted to focus on my emotional and mental self. I have found me, gained happiness and strength, and actually lost weight in the process.
This coming year, I’m going to expand on what I’ve gained. I want to keep growing in the direction I’ve begun, but I want to try and work on my writing as well. There was only one story I published this year. Next year, I’m aiming for five or six. Maybe a book or two as well.
But, my focus will be me. I want to discover more about Casia and I’m excited to see what good I will bring to my neighbors and fellow humankind.
